Grease and oil stains can be particularly stubborn and difficult to remove, so it is important to act quickly. The best way to treat the stain is to start by using a paper towel or cloth towel to blot up as much of the stain as possible.

Next, use a pre-treatment spray or powder to apply directly to the stain. This will help to break up the stain and make it easier to remove. Let the pre-treatment sit on the stain for several minutes before rinsing with cold water.

If the stain is still visible after pre-treating, you can try soaking the fabric in water with a detergent specifically designed to remove oil and grease. Once garment has soaked for a few minutes, rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear and then let the garment air dry.

If stain is still visible after the above steps, you can try using a mild bleach solution. Apply the bleach to stain and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cold water and letting the garment air dry.

Once the stain has been removed, be sure to wash the garment normally to remove any residue from the pre-treatment or bleach. This will restore the garment back to its original condition.
