Scissors oil stains can be annoying and difficult to remove, but with right steps and some elbow grease, you'll have your beloved sweatshirt free of pesky stains in no time. Here's how to do it:

Step 1: Wipe It Off

If the scissors oil stain is just starting to set in, use a damp cloth or paper towel to wipe away as much as you can. This should help remove majority of the stain and make it easier to work on it further.

Step 2: Pre-Treat the Stain

Next, pre-treat the stain with a laundry pre-treatment. This should help break down oil and make it easier to remove. Apply a generous amount of pre-treatment and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Step 3: Use a Detergent

Once the pre-treatment has had a chance to sit, use a laundry detergent to work on the stain. Rub the detergent into the stain thoroughly, then let it sit for another 10 minutes.

Step 4: Rinse and Wash

After the detergent has had a chance to work, rinse the area with cold water. Once the stain is removed, wash the sweatshirt in warm water and air-dry. The stain should be gone!
