If you’ve got an old pair of Superga shoes that are looking worse for wear due to oil stains, don’t despair. It is possible to clean and restore them to almost new condition; all you need is the right tools and techniques.

What You'll Need:

  • Small bowl
  • Sponge or soft cloth
  • Mild detergent
  • Water
  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar
  • Brush

Instructions:

  1. Mix one teaspoon of mild detergent with one cup of warm water in a small bowl until the detergent is completely dissolved.
  2. Dip a sponge or soft cloth into the solution and use it to gently scrub the oil stains on the Superga shoes. Be careful not to wash away any colouring.
  3. After scrubbing the stains off, rinse the affected area with lukewarm water.
  4. Prepare a paste by mixing two tablespoons of baking soda with one tablespoon of white vinegar.
  5. Apply the paste onto the remaining oil stains and let it sit for an hour.
  6. Scrub off the paste with a brush and rinse with clean water.
  7. Use a soft cloth to dry off the shoes.

And there you have it - your perfectly clean Supergas in no time at all. With these easy steps, you can keep your sneakers looking fresh and new for years to come.
