Scissor oil stains can be tricky to remove, but they don’t have to be. With the right approach and some patience, you can restore your sundress to its original condition.

Removing Scissor Oil Stains from Sundresses

  • The first thing you should do is work on spotting the area with a clean white towel.
  • If stain is still visible, apply a small amount of gentle laundry detergent directly to spot and gently scrub with a soft brush.
  • The next step would be to rinse the spot in cold water until all of the detergent is gone.
  • After rinsing, it’s time to pretreat the stained area by dabbing it with a wet cloth.
  • Now, put sundress in washing machine with some warm water. Make sure to use a mild detergent.
  • Once the cycle has finished, hang the sundress up to dry.

If you have followed all of the steps correctly, the stain should be gone when the sundress is dry. However, if the stain persists, try repeating some of the steps or using a stronger detergent.
