Step 1: Rinse with Cold Water

To start, rinse the affected area with cold water. This will remove any loose dirt and oils, making it easier to clean.

Step 2: Apply a Stain Remover

Once area has been rinsed, it’s time to apply a stain remover. Begin by blotting the area with a towel and then apply an enzyme-based stain remover, such as dishwashing liquid, onto the stain. Allow it to soak in for 5-10 minutes and then blot the area again.

Step 3: Launder and Dry

After blotting the area with a towel, launder and dry the spandex according to its care instructions. Ensure that the stain is completely removed before drying.

Step 4: Repeat if Necessary

If the stain persists, repeat Steps 2 and 3 until it is gone. Be sure to check and see if the stain remover does not damage the spandex before proceeding.
