The first thing to do is to spot treat affected area. Make sure to use a cleaner that doesn't contain chlorine or solvents. You may need to repeat this step several times, depending on the size of the stain. Once you have applied the cleaner, let it sit for 10-15 minutes before rinsing off with cold water.

Next, prepare an absorbent mixture. Combine two tablespoons of baking soda and two cups of warm water and stir together to create a paste like consistency. Apply the paste liberally to the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then, use a damp cloth to wipe away the baking soda.

Another option is to use rubbing alcohol. Simply pour alcohol onto the stain and then rub it in with a clean cloth or sponge. Let the area dry completely before washing the clothing item as normal.

Finally, always be sure to read and follow the care instructions labeled on the garment. In some cases, you may need to take the item to a dry cleaner to ensure the stain is removed correctly.

Stains from scissor oils don't have to be permanent on your sleepwear. With a few simple steps, you can easily remove the stains and keep your garments looking like new.
