What You'll Need

  • Towel
  • White vinegar
  • Liquid dish soap
  • Cleaning brush
  • Stain-removing spray
  • Clean cloths

Step By Step Instructions

  1. Lay your pants on a towel on the floor.
  2. Mix together one part white vinegar with two parts liquid dish soap in a bowl.
  3. Dip the cleaning brush into mixture and rub it in circles onto the stain until it starts to break up. Do not scrub too hard; you don't want to damage the fabric.
  4. Rinse off the remaining mixture with a damp cloth and let pants air dry for a few minutes.
  5. If the stain remains, spray the area with a stain-removing spray and allow it to sit for a few minutes.
  6. Rinse the area with a wet cloth and allow it to air dry.

Additional Tips

  • If the stain is still present after step 5, repeat Steps 1 through 5 until the stain is gone.
  • Once the stain is gone, wash the pants normally.
  • Be sure to check the instructions on the stain-removing spray; some require that the garments be washed immediately after use.
