  • White vinegar

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Mix one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid with one cup of warm water in a container.
  2. Gently submerge the affected area in the soapy solution and allow it to soak for several minutes.
  3. After the affected area has been soaked, rinse it with cool water.
  4. Mix one tablespoon of laundry detergent with one cup of warm water in a separate container
  5. Submerge affected area in the detergent solution and leave it to soak for several minutes.
  6. After soaking, rinse the affected area with cool water.
  7. Mix two tablespoons of white vinegar with two cups of warm water in a bowl.
  8. Use a soft cloth to dab the affected area with the vinegar solution.
  9. Let vinegar solution sit on the fabric for about 10 minutes.
  10. After 10 minutes, rinse off the vinegar solution with cool water.
  11. Repeat steps 8-10 until the stained area is free of scissors oil.
