When cutting fabric or paper with scissors, some of the oil used to keep them running smoothly can sometimes get on your pavers or concrete. This can leave a noticeable stain that detracts from the overall look of your surface. Fortunately, it's a relatively simple fix.

Instructions

  1. Using a putty knife or stiff brush, scrape as much of oil residue off as possible.
  2. Spray a degreasing cleaner onto the affected area and allow it to sit for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Scrub the area with a stiff brush, then rinse with water.
  4. If the stain persists, use a pressure washer to remove any remaining residue.
  5. Apply a sealer to help prevent future oil stains.

If done correctly, these steps should remove all traces of scissor oil from your pavers or concrete. You'll be left with a pristine surface that looks good as new!
