The first step of removing an oil stain is to blot it with a cloth or towel. Make sure not to rub it, as this will only cause stain to spread. If necessary, use some dish soap on the cloth to help loosen the oil.
Once you've blotted as much of the oil as you can, you'll need to scrape the remaining residue off with a dull-edged object, like a butter knife. Be careful not to press too hard, as this can damage Paul Smith fabric.
Rinse the area where the stain was with cold water until all of the residue is gone. Be sure to use a gentle circular motion to help loosen any stubborn bits of oil.
Once you've rinsed the area, soak it in a solution of warm water and detergent. Let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off. This should help to remove any remaining oil stains.
Finally, let area air dry completely. You can dab it with a cloth to speed up the process, but make sure not to rub the fabric or you may risk setting the stain.
