Steps for cleaning scissors oil stains
- Prepare your cleaning solution. In a bowl or container, mix equal parts white vinegar and baking soda until it forms a paste.
- Apply the paste to the stain. Dip an old toothbrush into the paste, and then gently scrub the stained area.
- Rinse the stained area with warm water. Wipe away any excess paste, and then use a clean cloth to pat dry.
- Apply liquid detergent. Dab a small amount of liquid detergent onto stained area and allow to sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse detergent off. Use warm water to rinse away detergent, and then use a clean cloth to pat area dry.

- Always test any cleaning solution on a small area of fabric before using it on entire garment.
- If the stain persists, repeat the process until stain is removed.
