Step 1: Wet your Hair Tie

Start by getting a wet cloth and dipping the hair tie into water. The water will help to separate the oil from the fabric.

Step 2: Apply Soap

Once the hair tie is wet, apply some dishwashing liquid or hand soap onto the wet cloth. Rub the cloth over the hair tie gently to break up the grease. Keep going until you start to see the stain coming off.

Step 3: Rinse Hair Tie

Once you’re done scrubbing, rinse hair tie under running water. You should see the stains starting to come off. If there are still some stubborn stains, repeat step 2.

Step 4: Dry the Hair Tie

Once you’re done rinsing, hang hair tie up to air dry. Your hair tie will now be free of oily stains and ready for use!
