- Cleaning solvent
- White absorbent paper towels
Instructions
- Lay stained area of the fabric face up on a flat surface. Make sure that the stained area is not touching anything else.
- Soak a clean white cloth in a solution of liquid laundry detergent and warm water. Wring out any excess moisture.
- Place the damp cloth over the stained area of fabric. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes.
- Lightly rub stain with cloth in a circular motion. Do not scrub too hard or you could damage the fabric.
- If the stain persists, mix a solution of one part cleaning solvent and three parts warm water. Dip a microfiber cloth into the solution and then wring it out so there’s no dripping. Gently blot the stained area of the fabric until the stain is gone.
- To remove any remaining cleaning solvent, place a few white absorbent paper towels over the stained area of fabric. Press down gently to blot up the cleaning solution.
- Allow the fabric to air dry before wearing or washing.
Tips
- Always test any cleaning solution on an inconspicuous spot of the fabric first to make sure it won’t damage or discolor it.
- For stubborn stains, use an old toothbrush to lightly scrub the area.
