If your favorite pair of jeans has been marked by a pesky scissor oil stain, don’t fret – it can easily be removed! All you need to do is follow a few basic steps.

Here’s what to do:

  1. Start by blotting away any excess oil on the denim with a paper towel or dry cloth.
  2. Next, apply a small amount of dish soap or laundry detergent to the affected area, and rub it gently onto the fabric with a soft brush or cloth.
  3. Once you’ve applied the detergent, leave it to sit for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Afterward, rinse fabric thoroughly with cold water.
  5. Finally, launder the item as normal.

If the stain is still there after laundering, you may need to repeat these steps – use a little more detergent this time and make sure to launder the item again afterwards.
