Steps to Cleaning Oil Stains Off Carrickmacross Lace
- Take a soft rag and moisten it with some mild soap and warm water.
- Using light pressure, pat the stained area of the lace gently.
- Mix one tablespoon of baking soda into a cup of warm water. Dip rag into the mixture and dab the same area again.
- Create a mixture with one tablespoon of white vinegar and one tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide and apply it to the stain with a separate rag.
