Step 1: Gather Supplies

  • Mild laundry detergent
  • Small hand brush or toothbrush
  • Bucket of warm water
  • Old towel

Step 2: Pre-treat Stain

Start by adding a teaspoon of mild laundry detergent to the stained area. Using a small hand brush or an old toothbrush, lightly scrub the stained area with the sudsy mixture.

Step 3: Soak in Warm Water

Once stain has been pre-treated, fill a bucket of warm water and add a teaspoon of mild laundry detergent. Submerge the capris and let them soak in water for at least an hour.

Step 4: Rinse with Cold Water

Once the capris have been soaked, remove them from bucket and rinse with cold water. For extra stain removal power, you can repeat Steps 2 and 3 again before doing a final rinsing of cold water.

Step 5: Air Dry

Once you’ve finished rinsing, lay the capris flat on an old towel and air dry. Do not put the capris in the dryer, as that could set the stain.
