- A clean cloth or sponge
- Dish soap
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
- A toothbrush
Steps for Removing Scissors Oil Stains from Canvas
- Combine equal parts dish soap with white vinegar on a clean cloth or sponge.
- Gently rub the stained area in circular motions with the cloth/sponge.
- Rinse the area with water and repeat until the stain is gone.
- If the stain persists, mix baking soda with water to create a paste. Rub the paste onto stained area with a toothbrush and rinse with water.
- Repeat until stain is removed.
