To start tackling scissors oil stains in ASICS shoes, you’ll need the following items:

  • Dish soap or detergent
  • White vinegar
  • Old toothbrush or soft-bristled brush
  • Soft cloth

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Mix a solution of dish soap or detergent, and white vinegar. A standard ratio would be 1 part soap to 2 parts vinegar, but if the stain is particularly stubborn you can increase the vinegar ratio.
  2. Using the toothbrush, carefully apply the cleaning solution to affected area of the shoe.
  3. Allow the solution time to work on stain, allowing it to soak for about 10 minutes.
  4. Using the toothbrush again, scrub area gently in small circles.
  5. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with clean water.
  6. Dab the wet area dry with the soft cloth.
