Steps to Clean Scissors Oil Stains off Angora

  1. Start by dabbing the affected area of the garment with a sponge dipped in lukewarm water.
  2. Mix a small amount of mild detergent or dish soap with the lukewarm water and thoroughly mix it.
  3. Moisten a clean cloth with detergent solution and dab the stained area vigorously.
  4. Wring the cloth as much as possible and use it to rinse the area.
  5. Mix a cup of white vinegar in a gallon of warm water.
  6. Dampen a white cloth with the mixture and dab area again.
  7. Rinse the area with warm water to remove the vinegar and odor.
  8. Place absorbent paper towels or a white cloth over stain and press down firmly.
  9. If necessary, repeat steps 1 through 8 to remove any leftover oil residue.
  10. Allow the garment to air dry, or if you're in a hurry you can use a hairdryer.
