First, dip a cotton swab in rubbing or isopropyl alcohol and gently wipe the stained area on the watch. Rubbing alcohol is a great cleaner with many other uses, and it works especially well on stainless steel and plastic surfaces.
You can also try soaking your watch in warm water and liquid dish soap. All you need to do is mix two parts water and one part soap in a bowl, place the watch in the mixture and let it soak for a few minutes. Once done, gently scrub away the stain with a soft cloth.
If all else fails, try using toothpaste. Squeeze out some toothpaste onto a clean cloth and apply it to the stained area. Gently, rub toothpaste into the surface and then use a damp cloth to remove any residue.
No matter how careful you are, accidents can happen. But with these simple tips, you're sure to be able to remove those pesky salad dressing stains from your watch with ease.
