  • Mild laundry detergent

  • Lemon juice

Steps to Clean Lace Stapled With Salad Dressing Stains

  1. Place the stained area of the Venetian lace on top of a clean, white cotton clothe.
  2. Mix 1 tablespoon of mild laundry detergent with 2 tablespoons of non-bleach white vinegar and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice.
  3. Dab the solution unto the stained area with a clean, white cotton cloth.
  4. Allow the solution to penetrate the stain for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Wash off the solution with cold running water.
  6. Rinse the stained area with cold running water until the soap particles are removed.
  7. Gently wring the stained area with a clean, white cotton cloth to remove excess moisture.
  8. Leave the lace to dry naturally in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
