- Mix equal parts white vinegar with water in a bowl.
- Soak the soft cloth in mixture and wring it out.
- Gently blot the stain area of the velvet with cloth and solution. Do not rub or scrub the area, as this will damage velvet fibers.
- Once the stain has been sufficiently blotted, use a second dry and soft cloth to blot the area.
- Allow the velvet to air dry thoroughly.
