Removing Greasy Salad Dressing Stains from Toys
Kids love getting messy with their food, but leaving a stain on their favorite toy is never an ideal outcome. If your child has gotten salad dressing on their toys, don't worry, as there are steps you can take to get the greasy marks out of fabric and other materials.

What You'll Need
- Baking soda
- White vinegar
- Dish soap
- Soft cloths or towels
- Cold water
Instructions
- Create a mixture of one part white vinegar and one part cold water.
- Dip a soft cloth into the mixture and apply it directly to the stained area.
- Allow the cloth to dry on stain for about five minutes.
- Mix two tablespoons of baking soda with two tablespoons of warm water.
- Apply this paste to the stained area, rubbing gently until the stain begins to disappear.
- Continue to rub the stain until it is completely removed.
- To finish cleaning the toy, use a cloth that is damp with cold water and dish soap, and wipe away all residual cleaning products.
- Pat with a clean, soft cloth and allow to air-dry.
