Materials
- Laundry detergent
- Oxygen bleach
- Olive oil or white vinegar
- Old toothbrush
- Clean white towel
- Warm water
Steps to Remove Salad Dressing Stains
- Use an old toothbrush to dislodge as much of the Salad dressing off the tank top as possible.
- Take a small amount of laundry detergent on an old toothbrush and scrub the stain in a circular motion.
- Blot the area with a clean white towel.
- Rinse the area with warm water and let it air dry for about 30 minutes.
- If the stain does not come out, mix one tablespoon of oxygen bleach with one cup of water and apply it to the stain. Let it sit for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
- If stain still does not come out, you can try rubbing a small amount of olive oil or white vinegar into the stain before laundering as usual.
