Step 1: Treat Stain Immediately

If you notice the salad dressing stain when it's still fresh, act fast by blotting the area with a paper towel. This helps to draw out some of the liquid and prevent it from seeping further into fabric.

Step 2: Apply a Cleaning Solution

Mix a tablespoon of dishwashing soap or laundry detergent with two cups of cold water. Dip a cloth in the solution and dab at the stain until it begins to disappear. Don't rub or scrub the fabric too hard as this could damage it.

Step 3: Rinse With Cold Water

Once the stain is no longer visible, take a clean cloth and rinse the area with cold water. This helps to remove any remaining residue from the cleaning solution.

Step 4: Wash the Garment As Normal

Place item in washing machine and wash it on the delicate cycle using cold water and mild detergent. Allow the garment to air dry after washing.
