  1. Mix equal parts of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda, till you get a paste-like consistency.
  2. Rub this paste onto stained area using an old toothbrush or a soft brush.
  3. Leave it be for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Rinse off paste with cold water.
  5. Make a cleaning solution with ¼ teaspoon laundry detergent and 1-2 cups of warm water.
  6. Gently dip a soft cloth in the solution and use it to spot clean your shoes.
  7. Rinse the soap off with cold water.
  8. Let your shoes dry completely before wearing them.

Tips to Keep in Mind

  • Always start by trying out a small patch test on a hidden area of shoes to see how the fabric would react to the solution.
  • Always rinse off the cleaning solution thoroughly with cold water, lest it leaves a soapy residue behind.
  • Do not machine wash your shoes or put them in the dryer.
  • Polish your shoes after they are dry to restore their natural shine.
