- Mild laundry detergent designed for delicate fabrics
- White vinegar
- Soft-bristle brush
Step-by-Step Guide
- As soon as the stain appears, blot away as much of liquid with a soft, white cloth or paper towel.
- Mix a solution of mild laundry detergent and warm water. Use 1 teaspoon of detergent for every quart of warm water.
- Soak a cloth in the detergent solution and dab the stained area. Make gentle circular motions.
- Apply a few drops of white vinegar directly on stain and let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Lather a soft-bristle brush in remaining detergent solution and gently brush the stained area in a circular motion.
- Rinse the stain with cold water and repeat Steps 3 and 4 until the stain is no longer visible.
- Allow the garment to dry naturally.
