If the Salad dressing stain is still fresh, you are in luck. The best thing you can do to tackle the stain is to act fast. Start by blotting at the stain with a dry paper towel or cloth. Once you have blotted as much as you can, take a small brush and lightly brush the stain with a mix of liquid dish soap and lukewarm water. Make sure it is not too hot though, as this may cause discoloration on the fabric. Keep brushing gently until the stain is visibly gone.
If the Salad dressing stain has already set into fabric, then you will have to take a few more steps. Start by mixing a tablespoon of laundry detergent, a teaspoon of white vinegar, and two cups of warm water. Take a clean cloth and dip it into the mixture, then lightly dab at the stain. Be sure to avoid scrubbing or rubbing into the fabric, as this can cause damage. After dabbing the stain, rinse out the cloth and repeat until the stain is gone.
After you have successfully removed the Salad dressing stain, it is important to take a few extra steps to restore original color of the fabric. Dip a clean cloth in clean, lukewarm water and gently rub the area until the fabric looks like its original color. Finally, let the fabric air dry completely.
