You will need the following supplies for this stain removal project: white cloth, warm water, mild liquid detergent, white vinegar, and a dry cleaning solvent.
Using white cloth, dab at the affected area with the warm water until the stain begins to lighten. Once the stain is dampened, generously apply mild liquid detergent and gently massage the fabric in a circular motion. Allow the detergent to sit on the fabric for 10 minutes before moving on to step 3.
Using a clean, damp cloth, rinse out any remaining detergent from the organza fabric. Once the detergent has been removed, blot the organza fabric again with the damp cloth to remove any excess water.
In a bowl, mix one part white vinegar with two parts warm water. Soak the organza fabric in solution for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, rinse the fabric in cold water.
If there is still some stain residue left after Steps 1-4, treat the area with a dry cleaning solvent. Apply the solvent to the stained area and allow it to sit for 30 minutes. Rinse the solvent out with cold water and then air dry completely.
Removing salad dressing stains from organza fabric can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Follow the 5 steps outlined above and your organza fabric should be good as new!
