What you'll need

  • Dish soap
  • White vinegar
  • Borax
  • Cleaning brush
  • Towel
  • Spray bottle

Step 1: Blot the Stain

Start by blotting the soiled area with a paper towel. This will help absorb excess liquid. Make sure not to rub or scrub the stain because this could cause it to set.

Step 2: Create a Cleaning Solution

Mix one teaspoon of dish soap, one tablespoon of white vinegar, and one tablespoon of Borax in a spray bottle. Fill rest of the bottle with warm water and shake until the mixture is combined.

Step 3: Apply the Cleaning Solution

Spray the cleaning solution onto the stained area and let it sit for five minutes. If the stain is particularly stubborn, you can use a soft brush to scrub the area lightly.

Step 4: Rinse with Water

Rinse the soiled area with lukewarm water and a clean cloth. You may also use a handheld shower head for this step.

Step 5: Allow to Air Dry

Finally, allow the mesh to air dry completely before using again.
