Start by taking a clean cloth and blot the stain to remove as much excess dressing as possible. Don’t rub or scrub the stain as this can cause it to spread and become worse.
Next, dampen the area around the stain with cold water. Make sure not to make the area too wet as this can cause the stain to spread and become more difficult to remove.
Apply a small amount of detergent directly to the stain and work it into the fabric using your fingers. Let the detergent sit on stain for a few minutes so it can start to break down dressing.
Rinse the stain with cold water to remove the detergent. Then repeat steps 2 and 3 until stain has been removed. If the stain is still visible, you may need to use a more powerful stain remover.
Once stain has been removed, launder the lingerie in the washing machine according to the care instructions. You may also want to add an extra stain remover product to the load for added protection against stains.
