The first thing you need to do is apply some soap or dishwashing liquid to the area where the salad dressing stain is. Gently massage the soap into the stain for about 30 seconds, then let it sit for 5 minutes. This will break down the oil from the salad dressing so the stain can be removed more easily.
Once the soap has had time to set in and break down the oil, rinse the goggles off with warm water. Make sure you rinse off all the soap before moving on to step 3.
After you have rinsed away all the soap, you can use a gentle cleaning solution such as vinegar and water to remove any remaining oil and residue. Mix a tablespoon of white vinegar with a cup of warm water, and use a soft cloth to wipe the area. Once you have wiped down the area, rinse with cold water and dry with a clean, soft towel.
Salad dressing stains on goggles can be tricky to remove, but these three easy steps make it painless. Follow these steps and your goggles will be good as new in no time.
