Step 1: Blot the Stain

The first step to removing any stain is to blot it up as soon as possible. Gently press a paper towel or cloth onto the stained area to remove as much of the dressing as you can. Don't scrub or rub it in – this could actually cause the stain to spread, making it harder to remove.

Step 2: Apply a Stain Remover

When you're done with the blotting, it's time to apply a stain remover. You can use store-bought stain removers such as Shout or homemade solutions such as water and lemon juice or vinegar and baking soda. For best results, read the instructions on the product's label and follow them accordingly.

Step 3: launder Garment

Now that the stain has been treated, it's time to launder the garment. Check the care label on the Fred Perry clothing to see what temperature and cycle to use. It is likely you will need to wash it in cold water. Tumble dry on low heat and check if the stain is gone. If it's still there, repeat steps one and two before laundering the garment again.
