What You Need

  • Butter knife or spoon
  • Clean cloth or sponge
  • Stain remover of your choice (dishwashing liquid, laundry detergent, vinegar, etc.)

Step 1: Remove the Excess Dressing

Using a butter knife or spoon, scrape off any excess salad dressing from the Fila. Take care not to apply too much pressure, as this may damage the fabric.

Step 2: Prepare the Stain Remover

Mix the stain remover you are using with some warm water. Depending on the type of stain remover you are using, you may need more or less of it. Refer to the instructions for the product for the correct amounts.

Step 3: Apply Stain Remover

Dampen a clean cloth or sponge with the mixture and dab the stained area of the Fila. Take care not to rub too hard, as this may cause the stain to spread.

Step 4: Rinse the Fila

Rinse the affected area with lukewarm water. This will help to remove any traces of the stain remover and salad dressing.

Step 5: Let it Dry

Once the Fila is clean, let it dry completely. It is advisable to lay it out flat instead of hanging up, as this will prevent any stretching of the fabric.
