Step 1: Blot Stain Immediately

When a salad dressing stain appears on your chambray fabric, first step is to blot the area with a clean cloth or paper towel. This will help remove as much of the salad dressing as possible before it has a chance to set in.

Step 2: Apply Soap Solution

Once you’ve blotted away as much of the stain as you can, create a soap solution in a bowl of lukewarm water and gently apply it to the stain with a soft-bristled brush. After gently brushing the solution onto the chambray, let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing with cold water.

Step 3: Treat the Area with Hydrogen Peroxide

If the stain is still present after rinsing the chambray, pour a small amount of hydrogen peroxide onto the area and let it sit for two to three minutes. Then, rinse the area with cold water once again.

Step 4: Let the Fabric Air Dry

After completing the steps above, let the fabric air dry naturally. Do not use any type of heat to dry the fabric, as this could cause further damage to the fabric or the stain.
