Salad dressing can easily cause tough stains on your barrettes, and can be frustrating to remove. If you’re not sure what to do, don’t worry! Read on to learn how to tackle salad dressing stains on your barrettes and get them looking good as new.
Before you begin, make sure you have all of the necessary supplies on hand. You’ll need:
In a small bowl, mix together equal parts baking soda and white vinegar. This will create a thick paste. Gently stir the solution until it’s well combined, without creating any extra bubbles.
Next, take a cotton swab and dip it into the thick paste. Dab the paste onto the stained area of barrette, and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
After the paste has had time to sit, take a soft-bristled toothbrush and gently scrub the stained area. Be sure to use light pressure; otherwise, you may damage the barrette.
Once you’ve scrubbed away the stain, rinse off barrette with cold water. Pat it dry with a soft cloth, and your barrette should be good as new.
