Eliminate Rust Stains from Tussah with Ease

2. Apply mixture to the stained area.
3. Allow it to sit for 30 minutes.
4. Rub the mixture gently into fabric.
5. Rinse garment in cold water.
6. Continue rubbing until the stain is no longer visible.
7. Wash the fabric normally in lukewarm water.
8. Hang the fabric to dry, preferably away from direct sunlight.

Alternate Steps to Remove Rust from Tussah

1. Mix some lemon juice and salt together (3:1 ratio).
2. Apply the solution to the stained area.
3. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes.
4. Gently rub the solution into the fabric.
5. Rinse the garment thoroughly with cold water.
6. If needed, repeat the steps until the stain is gone.
7. Wash the fabric normally in lukewarm water.
8. Hang fabric to dry, preferably away from direct sunlight.
