Step 1: Scrub Stain

Using an old toothbrush, scrub the rust stain gently. The bristles of toothbrush should help to loosen the stain.

Step 2: Prepare a Mixture

In a small bowl, mix one tablespoon of baking soda and two tablespoons of white vinegar until it forms a paste. Then, add a few drops of water and mix until paste is spreadable.

Step 3: Coat the Stain in Paste

Using your fingers, coat the rust stain with the paste until it is covered completely. Allow the paste to sit for about 15 minutes.

Step 4: Wipe the Paste Away

Using a damp rag, wipe away the paste. Make sure to do this gently so you don't further damage suede.

Step 5: Dry the Suede

Let the suede air dry. Once it's dry, check to see if the stain is still visible. If it is, repeat steps 1–4 before allowing the suede to dry again.
