But with a few simple tools and products, it won't take much time or effort to get your sports bra clean and looking brand-new again. Here's how:

  • To remove rust stains, mix one part dish detergent and two parts lemon juice. Apply the mixture to the stained area and let it sit for about five minutes.
  • Scrub the mixture onto the stain with a toothbrush and rinse with cool water.
  • If the stain persists, mix one part vinegar and four parts water and soak the garment in it for fifteen minutes. Rinse with cold water.
  • For rust on the clasp, try cleaning the area with steel wool dipped in vinegar.

Give your sports bra a thorough rinse after cleaning to ensure that all of the cleaning solutions have been removed before drying. You can also add a fabric softener if desired. After drying, inspect bra to ensure that all the stains have been successfully removed.

With a few simple steps, you'll be able to keep your sports bra looking fantastic and free of any unwanted rust stains.
