Treat with Lemon Juice or Vinegar

Take a cloth or sponge and moisten it with either lemon juice or vinegar. Rub the stained area gently but firmly. Don’t scrub too hard; you don’t want to wear away the fabric of your shoe. After several minutes of rubbing, rinse the affected area with cool water and let it air dry.

Apply a Baking Soda Paste

Mix a small amount of baking soda with a few drops of water to create a paste. Gently rub the paste onto the rust stain and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Take a damp cloth and gently wipe away the paste. Rinse area with cool water and let the area air dry.

Use A Rust-Removing Solution

If neither of the above methods work, you can try using a rust-removing solution. Apply the solution to stained area and let it sit for a few minutes before scrubbing the area with a soft cloth. When you’re done, rinse area with cool water and let it air dry.

Conclusion

Rust stains on shoes can be unsightly and tough to remove. However, with a little elbow grease and the right materials, you can successfully clean rust stains off your shoes in no time!
