Materials You'll Need

  • Vinegar
  • Toothbrush
  • Lemon juice
  • Baking soda

Step One: Apply Vinegar

The first step is to apply vinegar to stain. Make sure to cover the entire stain thoroughly. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before proceeding.

Step Two: Scrub with Toothbrush

Using toothbrush, gently scrub the stained area in a circular motion. This should help to remove the rust stain.

Step Three: Rinse with Water

Once you have finished scrubbing the stained area, rinse it with water. This will help to remove any remaining residue from vinegar and toothbrush.

Step Four: Apply Lemon Juice or Baking Soda

After rinsing the stained area, you can apply either lemon juice or baking soda to rust stain. Let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse with water.

Repeat if Necessary
