Before you start cleaning, make sure you have everything you need. You will need white vinegar, lemon juice, a soft cloth, hydrogen peroxide, and a non-abrasive scrubber or sponges.
Create a soaking solution by mixing together equal parts of white vinegar and lemon juice in a bowl. Soak the fabric item with rust stain in this solution for about 15 minutes.
Remove the soaked fabric item from the bowl and lay it out on a flat surface. Take your non-abrasive scrubber or sponge and dip it into the hydrogen peroxide. Gently scrub the area with rust stain using the scrubber/sponge and the hydrogen peroxide until the stain is completely gone.
Once you have finished scrubbing the fabric, rinse it off in cold water. This will help remove any traces of the vinegar and lemon juice mixture.
Lay the fabric item on a flat surface and allow it to air dry. Once it is completely dry, your fabric will be free of rust stains!
