What You'll Need:

  • Vinegar or lemon juice
  • Baking soda
  • Soft cloth
  • Liquid detergent

Step 1: Make a Paste

Mix equal parts of baking soda and vinegar or lemon juice to make a paste. Stir until they are fully blended together. Add a few drops of liquid detergent to the paste if you like.

Step 2: Apply Paste

Dab paste onto the rust stains on the pillow using a soft cloth. Make sure that the paste is evenly spread over the stain. Allow the paste to sit on the stain for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: Rinse the Area

Rinse the area with cool water. Use the cloth to scrub lightly at stain if necessary.

Step 4: Dry the Area

Use a soft, absorbent cloth to dry the area thoroughly. Make sure no moisture or residue from the paste is left on the pillow.

Step 5: Repeat as Necessary

If the stain is still not gone, repeat the process again until the stain disappears.
