Using a clean, damp cloth, wipe down the rusted area to remove any residue that may be left on the surface. This will ensure that your cleaning solution has the best chance of sticking to the surface.
Mix one teaspoon of dish soap and two cups of warm water in a bowl. Then, add one tablespoon of white vinegar to the mixture. Stir the mixture together until it becomes sudsy.
Using the scrub brush, apply the cleaning solution to the rusted area. Make sure you cover all of stained areas. Let the solution sit on rusted area for about 10 minutes before you move on to the next step.
Once the cleaning solution has had time to sink in, take the damp cloth and wipe down the area. This will remove rust stains and any remaining residue.
After you've removed the rust stains, it's important to dry off the area. Use a dry cloth to wipe off any moisture and let it finish air drying.
Congratulations- you've successfully removed rust stains from your Paul Smith furniture! The surface is now ready for use.
