If you find rust stains on your oxford shoes, don't fret! You can easily remove them with a few simple household products. Here's how:

What You'll Need

  • White vinegar
  • Bowl
  • Old toothbrush
  • Soft cloth

Instructions

  1. Pour white vinegar into bowl until it is about one quarter full.
  2. Dip the old toothbrush into vinegar and use it to scrub the rust stain.
  3. Once the stain has been removed, rinse the area with clean water.
  4. Wipe the area dry with a soft cloth.
  5. To prevent further rust stains from forming, apply a small amount of shoe polish to the area.

Additional Tips

  • For tough rust stains, use a small amount of baking soda in addition to white vinegar.
  • Regularly checking your oxford shoes for rust stains will help keep them looking their best.
  • Always test any cleaning solution on a small, unnoticeable part of the shoe before applying it to the stain.
