Rust stains can be a nasty eyesore, especially if they're on your favourite one-piece swimsuit. But with the right steps, you can get those unsightly stains out in no time.
Soak stained area in white vinegar for 30 minutes. The vinegar will help to break down the rust and make it easier to remove.
After soaking the swimsuit in white vinegar, wash the garment in a washing machine using cold water. Add a small scoop of baking soda while the washing machine is running.
Once the swimsuit has been washed, remove it from the washing machine and check for any remaining rust stains. If there are any, take a damp cloth and gently dab stain until it is removed.
After all the rust stains have been removed, dry the swimsuit in a dryer using low heat or by hand.
With these simple steps, you can easily remove rust stains from your one-piece swimsuit. It's a good idea to treat your swimsuit with white vinegar periodically to prevent rust stains from appearing.
