Tools You'll Need

  • Vinegar
  • Baking Soda
  • Soft-bristled brush
  • Old toothbrush
  • Clean towel

Step 1: Create a Paste with Baking Soda and Vinegar

Mix two parts baking soda to one part white vinegar to create a paste. The consistency should be thick, but still runny enough that it can be applied easily. For additional help, check out this tutorial .

Step 2: Apply the Paste to Stain

Using a soft-bristled brush, apply the paste to the stain. Allow paste to sit for 15 minutes. If necessary, you can sprinkle a few drops of water on the paste to keep it moist.

Step 3: Scrub the Stain with a Toothbrush

After letting the paste sit for 15 minutes, use an old toothbrush to scrub the stain in a circular motion. Be careful not to scrub too hard, as this can damage the fabric of the jacket.

Step 4: Rinse the Jacket

Once stain has been removed, rinse the area with cool water. Dry the jacket with a clean towel.
