To clean off rust stains from hats, you'll need to gather a few items first. Gather some baking soda, a toothbrush, a soft cloth, and white vinegar. You may also want to use a small bowl or cup to mix the baking soda and vinegar in.
Once you have all of your materials, start by pouring a bit of baking soda into a bowl. Next, slowly pour some white vinegar into the baking soda and stir the mixture until it forms a paste. Dip a toothbrush into the mixture and gently scrub away the rust stain from hat. Be sure that you are gentle and that the fabric is not damaged.
After you have brushed away the rust stain, the next step is to rinse area with warm water. Once the area has been rinsed, take a dry, soft cloth and press it onto the hat to remove any excess moisture.
Finally, allow the hat to air dry completely before putting it back on. With these steps, you should have no difficulty removing rust stains from your favorite hat.
