First, you'll need to rinse the rust stain with warm water as soon as you see it. Gently dab the stain with a wet cloth to help loosen it.
Combine equal parts salt and lemon juice in a bowl to form a paste-like mixture. The acidity of the lemon juice helps to break down the rust's grip on the fabric.
Using a cleaning cloth, rub the mixture into the stain in a circular motion. You may need to apply some pressure here, but be gentle so you don't damage the fabric.
Rinse the mixture away with cool water. If the stain has faded but is still visible, repeat the process until the stain is completely gone. Then, lay the fabric flat to air dry.
With these 4 easy steps, you should be able to remove a rusty stain from your Georgette fabric. Just remember to be gentle when cleaning the fabric to avoid any damage!
