Things You'll Need

  • Soft cloth
  • Dry powder cleaner
  • Mild detergent
  • Baking soda
  • White vinegar

Step 1: Removing Light Rust Spots

If you have noticed light rust spots on your Fendi, use a soft cloth to gently wipe away any dirt or debris from the area. Once the area is clean, sprinkle some dry powder cleaner onto the spot. Allow it to sit for 15 minutes, then use the cloth to buff the spot until the rust is gone. Make sure not to scrub too hard, as this could damage the leather.

Step 2: Removing Tough Stains

If the rust stain is tougher to remove, mix a solution of mild detergent and baking soda. Apply the mixture to stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Use a soft cloth to scrub the spot in a circular motion. Once it's clean, rinse area with warm water. Blot with a clean cloth to dry.

Step 3: Removing Stubborn Stains

For stubborn rust stains, mix together equal parts white vinegar and water. Apply mixture to the stain and let it sit for 15 minutes. Use a soft cloth to scrub area in a circular motion. Rinse the area with warm water and blot with a clean cloth to dry.

Tips

  • Be gentle when scrubbing rust stains to avoid damaging the leather.
  • Always test any product or solution on a small area before using it on your Fendi.
  • Try to dry the area as much as possible after rinsing.
